ABOUT GIL
During his professional boxing career, Gil Reyes, whose nickname is “Sugar”, had a record of 18 wins, 5 losses, and 1 draw, including 11 knockouts. In 2005, Gil beat Carlos González for the vacant WBA Fedecentro Title. A title later won in 2008 by Mexican boxing great, Alvarez Canelo.
Gil also served as a sparring partner to Puerto Rican champion, Miguel Cotto. Gil has been featured numerous times on ESPN2 and Telemundo. Today, Gil guides amateur and boxing enthusiasts in honing their skills and overall fitness levels. Gil specializes in:
